The Hurt Locker

My vote: 7/10

After seeing that The Hurt Locker won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Picture, I just had to watch it. I'll be honest, I really, really, don't understand how this film is worthy of winning that award. It's an average war story with mediocre acting yet some epic explosion scenes. I enjoyed the screenplay, though.

I'm not so familiar with exactly what happens to soldiers in Iraq, but this film seems very unrealistic. I am sure this is not the best war film ever, nor the best written. Totally overrated.
